How to use our body oils

FAQ
Aren't body oils greasy?
It depends! Some body oils are way too rich because they contain slow absorbing oils like coconut oil or olive oil. Not ours! We consciously formulated our body oils to feel lightweight. We use oils with the right fatty acids for quick absorption and a silky-matte finish.
Can I use it year round?
You sure can! Body oils are really lovely for the warmer months because they feel lightweight and breathable (even more so than a lotion!). They're great in winter though you may want something richer when the really dry weather hits.
Can I use it on my face?
We don't recommend it. This is because body products have higher dermal limits for essential oils than facial products. Our body oil scents are incredible; subtle and authentic, but they're not formulated for facial dermal limits (with the exception of Maracya Body Oil which doesn't contain any essential oils!)
Body Oils vs Lotions vs Whipped Butters
Body oils and whipped butters are anhydrous (waterless). They don't contain water. Lotions and creams contain water which makes them hydrating and moisturizing. Body oils and butters can be applied while the skin is damp to trap moisture and better hydrate skin but they technically don't 'hydrate'
